Originally from Guayaquil, Ecuador, Dr. Lola McLaren Cevallos earned her medical degree at Universidad Católica de Santiago de Guayaquil (UCSG) and completed her residency in internal medicine with Cornell University at Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center in the South Bronx. She is double board-certified in Internal Medicine and Obesity Medicine and currently works at East Greenwich Brown Health Medical Group Primary Care, where she is passionate about helping patients achieve their health goals.
Lola is settled in Rhode Island with her husband Nick—a native Rhode Islander she met during her travels at a Napa Valley vineyard—and their three wonderful daughters: Mia (10), Esme (9), and Ava (7). Her family loves traveling, with summers on Block Island being a favorite tradition. She also enjoys hosting lively gatherings and dancing, even though she has no formal training.This hasn’t stopped Lola from embracing the challenge of Dancing with the Doctors!
